This supported 3-day, ~76 mile loop around the Three Sisters plus Broken Top is going to be a truly epic mountain tour over the 4th of July weekend with a great small group! Starting in the north at Millican Crater Trailhead, folks start a counter clockwise loop around the Three Sisters to Soda Creek Campground on Day 1, then Elk Lake Trailhead (a short shuttle from camp) up and over Broken Top to Three Creek Lake Campground on Day 2, and from there back north to close the loop on Day 3. This is a world-class route and your jaw will be dropping around every corner! We provide all the support and logistics to make this dream trip a reality, everything except being on trail with you.
Please note this is a graduate level adventure and not to be taken lightly! This is a very tough challenge, broken up into 3 days. There are several big climbs and descents, many creek/river crossings, altitude, and exposure to deal with. You should be able to comfortably complete a 25+ mile trail run/ hike w/ 4-5k feet of climbing/descending, be familiar w/ the route in specific, plus versed in navigation and trail safety in general, etc.*
*This is NOT A GUIDED TRIP. All participants are responsible for themselves.
Thursday, July 4th- Day 1:
Meet at Millican Crater Trailhead between 7-9 am to drop off gear/supplies to be transported to Soda Creek Campground and start your adventure! The majority of this BIG ~29 mile day will be on the Pacific Crest Trail, traveling southbound on the west side of the Three Sisters. Later in the day you'll wrap around to the east to exit at Devils Lake Trailhead and then finish with ~2 miles of pavement on Cascade Lakes Highway to camp. Tents and food/refreshments will be awaiting you after your tough ~50k day :)

Things kick off with a climb on the PCT to Koosah Mountain, then wrap around just south of South Sisters to Green Lakes Trail and up and over the shoulder of Broken Top to No Name Lake on the most spectacular alpine terrain of the entire trip. A stunning ~26 mile day in the alpine, plus stops for swimming in alpine lakes... what could be better?!
